Dieprode kleur. In de neus ontwikkelen zich frisse aroma's van munt, tijm met een zweem van kruidnagel.
In de mond is deze wijn rond en fijn met fruitige aroma's van zwarte aalbessen. Na wat evolutie wordt hij ronder en fluweler in aanzet.

Als je de oogst proeft, proef je geen harde languedocs maar zachte wijnen, door de deels gekoelde gisting en gebruik te maken van 'macération carbonique': smeuïg, sappig, vol, fruitig, kruidig en verfijnd hout. Toch hebben de AOC-wijnen veel concentratie zonder echt complex te zijn.

About Dom. des Crès Ricards
Domaine des Crès Ricards is a relatively new domain in the 'world of wine'. The domain is 28 hectares and is located in the west 35 km from Montpellier in the heart of the Côte de Languedoc (Terrasses de Larzac). The vineyards are planted 60m above sea level. Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante, Marselan and Chardonnay were cultivated on these terraces with stony ground. This domain always works with low yields (+/- 40hl / ha).
