Château Fontarèche rouge - Tradition | Corbières

Red wine | France, LANGUEDOC
We notice a beautiful deep red color with a purple appearance. In the nose red fruit (red currant) and fresh herbs, but also light wood and minerality. These aromas are confirmed in the mouth. The wine has a good structure and is well balanced. In the final we get freshness and red fruit, with a fine mineral touch.

About Ch. Fontarèche

Château Fontareche is one of the oldest domains of the Languedoc (14th century), located in the Aude department, north of Lezignac-Corbières. The domain used to belong to the archbishops of Narbonne and has been owned by the De Lamy family for nine generations (1682). The 150-hectare domain produces Corbières AOC and some Vin de Pays wines. These young winemakers strive for high quality without losing their authenticity. The AOCs only have a yield of 30 to 35 hl per hectare.
