Straw yellow color with green sparkles that turn golden yellow over time. In the nose we note the intense aroma of ripe exotic fruit, a little older you get the aroma of almond. In the mouth a powerful wine, some roundness, nicely balanced, unique, with in the end green apple and minerals.

Vinification
The grapes are harvested from different plots, with different orientations in relation to the sun. The grapes are harvested extra late, for a higher ripeness. After a slow pressing, the must ferment at a low temperature in steel barrels. A small percentage of the wine ripens in used barriques, in order to give the wine more roundness, the majority ripens in stainless steel, because freshness is the most important.

Piersanti is located in the beating heart of Verdicchio Dei Castelli di Jesi Classico DOC. This wine-producing company was founded in 1955 by Giovanni Piersanti and his children Silveria and Carlo. The company was later taken over by Carlo’s sons Giuliano and Ottavio.
