Vinification
The vines of Riesling (Riesling Renano) and Welschriesling (Riesling Italico) have been part of these hills since the very origins of viticulture in Valtènesi. Although the name might suggest otherwise, Welschriesling is not genetically related to Riesling.
After the harvest, the grapes undergo careful selection and are gently pressed to preserve their fresh aromas. This is followed by a controlled low-temperature fermentation, allowing the wine to develop its lively and refined character. The wine then matures for five months in stainless steel tanks, where it continues to evolve before being bottled.

Conti Thun is a family-owned boutique winery located in the Valtènesi, near the western shore of Lake Garda. The family’s winemaking tradition began in South Tyrol, in Terlano, and has since extended to the gentle hills of the Riviera Gardesana. The winery focuses on producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique characteristics of the region’s terroir.
