Château de l'Hospital Rouge | Graves | BIO

Red wine | France, GRAVES | 2018
Deep red color. A deep and delicate nose, aromas of ripe red fruit, some smoked wood and leather. Smooth and round tannins in the mouth. A nice final. The aging of 12 months in oak barrels is clearly noticeable.

Vinification
After a strict selection of the grapes on the bench table, only the most mature grapes remain. Now follows the disruption and a slight bruise. Prior to fermentation, the grapes go in stainless steel cuves, with 15 to 21 days peeling contact. This is done separately per parcel and per grape variety. The aging in oak barrels is also done separately: 12 months in oak barrels, 30% of which is renewed annually.
