A very rich and remarkable wine. In the nose the aroma of cherries, flowers (violin), truffle and tobacco. Trotanoy possesses power, complexity and depth, but at the same time the velvety texture that makes Pomerol so appealing. Despite its price, the price-quality ratio of this great wine remains unique. This wine needs at least 6 years of bottle aging before uncorking.

The grapes are picked by hand and after de-stemming the juice is vinified in cement vats. The wine is then aged on barriques, half of which are renewed annually.

About Ch. Trotanoy
Château Trotanoy is located in Libourne, Pomerol one kilometer west of Pétrus. The winery first had the name "Trop Ennuie" and was owned by the Girauds family. This family changed the name to "Trotanoy" and since 1953 the winery is owned by Jean-Piere Moueix.
The winery has around 12 hectares of vineyard and produces 42,000 bottles annually.
