Vinification
The wine ferments in steel tanks that have a special cone shape. The floating shells are stirred by the juice every day. This ensures a better extraction of aromas from the grapes and from the terroir. After the first and malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in large oak barrels of 30HL, for at least 12 months and then another 6 months in the bottle.

About Az. Monte del Frá
The domain of Monte del Frà is situated in the heart of the Custoza region, east of Lake Garda, 15 km from the center of Verona. It was founded in 1958 by the Eligio brothers and Claudio Bonomo. Today the domain covers around 100 hectares. All vineyards are fully equipped with an irrigation system, so that the vines receive the necessary nutrition every season, which forms a perfect basis for the Monte del Frà wines.
Thanks to the dedication of the Bonomo family and the attention they devote to every step of the production process, the wines became very popular, both in Italy and throughout Europe. Their wines have been selected on the international market as the most representative of the Verona region.
