This second wine is very elegant. Slightly less concentrated than his big brother but also at a very high level. The starter is firm, with lots of fruit and good tannins. We find enormous complexity in the aftertaste.

De selectie voor de tweede wijn is op basis van geselecteerde percelen, 15 ha groot, met een klei-kalksteen en een klei en zand-kalksteen bodem.
Na de oogst vindt de fermentatie en maceratie plaats in inox tanks. Deze wordt gestopt door de wijn te laten aflopen (écoulage). Dan gaat de wijn onmiddellijk op barrique.
De opvoeding op barrique duurt 16 maanden, de helft van de vaten zijn nieuwe vaten, de andere helft zijn barriques van één wijn (1 keer gebruikt). Tenslotte gaat de wijn op fles.

This domain has been in the possession of the same family for 7 generations. Thanks to the efforts of various people, this domain was classified in 1996 as Premier Grand Cru Classé. The vineyard consists of a continuous area of ??23.4 ha on clay-lime and sand-lime soils.
