The development is never forceful, but what presence on the palate! The tactile sensations are completed by the taste, the flavours. The tannins are well-rounded, refined, juicy. Excellent length, even when the wine is no longer in the mouth. The musical score composed by the three grape varieties, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, is incredibly accurate and harmonious.

Très belle couleur rouge-grenat profond. Le premier nez est mûr et intense. L’agitation le révèle complexe, avec des notes de fruits rouges et noirs, bien mûrs, sans excès. Les épices se mêlent aux fruits, réglisse, légère note de clou de girofle… L’attaque en bouche est pleine et caressante. Le vin remplit immédiatement le palais sans dureté et dans toutes les dimensions : hauteur, largeur et profondeur, donc du relief et des goûts de fruits mûrs, mêlés à la fève de cacao. La finale est longue avec des notes de moka, doublée de la légère amertume du café. L’élevage a permis de révéler encore plus sa grandeur et l’amener dans la cour des plus beaux millésimes de Haut-Brion.
